David Kean a native of Northern California moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990’s and after training at The Groundlings Theater he briefly pursued a career in acting, but transitioned into the antiques, custom furniture and luxury interior design field.  By the beginning of the 2000’s he had established a namesake line of antique reproduction furniture.  

 

In 2002 after buying his first home, he saw the opportunities in LA area real estate.  David quickly received is real estate license and went to work for a top LA luxury real estate firm.  His tell it like it is style of doing business and discrete representation of  L.A.’s A-listers and power-brokers has helped him build a loyal client base.  David has had his real estate and home design advice featured in The LA Times, Angeleno Magazine, LA Business Journal, Trulia.com, Fox News, The Sun, UK and more than 30 other publications.  In 2005 his own home renovation was covered in a two page spread in the LA Times.

 

Another passion of David’s is luxury thrift shopping which has generated a good sized social media following.

 

In 2014 David Met Courtney Stodden and her mother Krista at a World of Wonder Productions event in Hollywood.  Krista walked up to David and said “you should be on TV”, to which he responded “from your mouth to God’s ears”. In 2018 David was cast on the Courtney Stodden Reality Show.  It appears someone was listening.
